CUSTOMER NEEDS:
- After completion of the new university complex in 2012, the customer contacted Sicurpal to secure the trapezoidal sheet roofing of the whole building prior to maintenance of the PV system.
- Then, in 2014, the university designated one of the old buildings as a mechanical room, with technical plants installed even on the roof. The roof structure was made of concrete with an outermost vinyl covering and waterproofing membrane, therefore the customer asked for a lifeline that would not require to remove, penetrate or damage in any way the waterproofing membrane.
OUR SOLUTION: Igena and PBS Line installed on the concrete ring beam
- In 2012, Sicurpal installed Igena products, specially designed for metal sheet roofs.
- In 2014 instead, Sicurpal has been able to meet customer needs thanks to a PBS Lifeline installed on the concrete ring beam so to minimise penetration of the membrane.
